Sydney

We arrived in Sydney just in time for Christmas. Anna, Brian, Millie and Eoin were our hosts. It was so lovely to spend time with them again, we had missed them when they moved from Dubai. 

On Christmas morning we got up early to go and watch Santa arrive by boat an distribute presents to all of the little girls and boys in the community. It was a wonderful event. 

We returned to Anna and Brian's house where 8 adults and 7 children (all 5 and under) celebrated Christmas. There was a LOT of food, and thankfully a lot of space for all of the kiddies to run around. A&B really do have a wonderful house. It was such a perfect way to spend Christmas.

After Christmas we spent another week visiting and sight seeing.  We did some great walks - 

Trips to the aquarium - where they were hosting a Lego extravaganza.

Neva and Millie doing some duets. Great versions of Twinkle Twinkle were played.

Lawn Bowls - I was champ... of course but Neva was right in there sizing things up.

Australia - Brisbane to Sydney

We flew in to Brisbane and had a great stay/visit with Ryan, Jody, Victoria and Bennett. They have a lovely set up and showed us some of the great sites in Brisbane (before the floods).  

This was such a cool spot - right downtown beside the river. I'm sure it is no longer...sniff.




After a few days we picked up "Calypso" or "Charlie Hustle" and headed down the coast. We were so fortunate that R,J,V, & B camped along with us. It was such easy travel and we had lots of laughs and great times.

Neva and Bennett were having some great conversations by the end of the trip. Who knows what 2 year olds talk about.

Singapore

From Thailand we flew to Singapore. We spent a full day exploring and had a great time. Not many pictures as it was raining while we were there. Here is what we have:

We had a great time in Thailand. First was Phuket area (Karon Beach) and then we visited Phi Phi Island.
