Living in Dubai, there are all kinds of fancy wheels on the road. Well, Andrea and I finally broke down and got ourselves a new ride. We’ve been slumming it, by Dubai standards, with a rental CRV for far too long. Prices are pretty decent in Dubai, so you can afford to get the ‘almost’ dream ride! We went with a cool little cruiser, rear wheel drive, with some retro lines. It has a nice flat black finish, but in the end I think it was the rims that sold it for us. It certainly sticks to the road by the sheer weight of it, and kind of handles like a refrigerator, but in Dubai, it’s how you look….the concept of functionality has not made it into the Middle East yet.
